e-News® | The NEWS Company…DHAKA, Feb 16, 2015 :  A day-long air defence exercise titled “MINIEX 2015/1” of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held today at all the bases of the force today. The aim of this exercise is to test present air defence capability around Dhaka area as well as to strengthen air defence operational capability of the BAF.

Different types of fighter aircraft and radar squadrons including BAF officers and airmen of different ranks actively took part in the exercise. Besides, 301 Surface to Air Missile (SAM) unit of BAF also took part in the exercise, an ISPR release said.
