e-News® | The NEWS Company…Dhaka, June 19, 2015 : Members of Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested a man with four gold bars, weighing four kilograms worth about Tk. Two crore at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this morning.

The arrestee was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 40. ASP Tanjina Akter said, “Police arrested him at around 11-30 am from the checking point of the airport with four gold bars of four kg. Mizanur landed at the Airport by a flight of Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur.” The market value of the seized gold bars is Tk2 crore, Tanjina said.
