Rostec’s Berezhok weapon system proves itself against marine drones

AeroBD.NEWS : The weapon system named “Berezhok” manufactured by High Precision Systems, equipped with a fire control system and Kornet-E guided missiles, has successfully passed pilot tests and trials for combat against marine drones, Rostec reports.
“The pilot tests and trials of the Berezhok weapon system to combat marine drones went successfully,” sources said on the sidelines of IDEX-2025 in the UAE.
The weapon system with a fire control system and Kornet-E guided missiles, designed to be rack-mounted on armored vehicles, also known as “Berezhok,” was first presented at the Fleet-2024 exhibition in Kronstadt. The system includes a 2A42 30-mm automatic cannon, a PKTM 7.62-mm machine gun, an AG-30M 30-mm automatic grenade launcher, and two launchers of Kornet anti-tank guided missiles with two missiles per launcher.
Kornet ATGM remote launcher proves successful in trials
High Precision Systems (part of Rostec) has developed a remote launcher for the Kornet anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), which will enable remote-controlled combat operations. The trials were successful, the company claims.
“The Kornet remote-controlled ATGM launcher has passed all tests, proving that it performs as claimed. The launcher is designed to facilitate the use of the Kornet-EM ATGM in remote-controlled combat. The system’s unique capabilities also include detection, recognition and automatic (joystick-assisted) targeting of the launcher’s aiming mark on a moving or stationary target,” the company said at the IDEX-2025 exhibition in the UAE.
The “Kornet” has become a universal ATGM: it can be mounted on any tracked or wheeled chassis with an adequate payload.
Trials prove that Pantsir-SMD-E, developed by Rostec’s High Precision Systems, meets the declared specifications
The Pantsir-SMD-E air defense missile and gun system is designed to protect industrial and office buildings from massive drone attacks. Pantsir-SMD-E is equipped with a fire control system, which includes a surveillance radar, a multifunctional radar system and an electro-optical system. The system is capable of detecting and engaging air targets at medium and short ranges, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of firing in automatic mode.
The ammunition load in the launcher’s guides can reach
48 short-range anti-aircraft guided missiles. The number of missiles in the launcher can vary depending on the combination of standard and mini-missiles.
