EXTRA 3,000 SQUARE METERS FOR TARMAC AEROSAVE IN 2016

TARMACe-News® | The NEWS Company…Paris, Oct 13, 2015 : Within the frame of the MRO Europe tradeshow in London from October 13th to 16th 2015, the European leader in aircraft storage and recycling, TARMAC AEROSAVE, announced the development of its French infrastructures. Extra 3,000 square meters of storage space and new customer facilities will be available in Tarbes at the beginning of 2016. In Tarbes, in addition to the outdoor spaces, TARMAC AEROSAVE is already providing a storage capacity of 8,000 square meters. At the beginning of 2016, the new 3,000-square meter hangar will bring the total to 11,000 square meters. This area is dedicated to the storage and logistics of the parts and equipments dismantled from the aircraft. During the MRO Europe tradeshow, TARMAC AEROSAVE presented its aeronautical part inventory and tracking methods.

This new space completes the 7,000 square meters of the A380 hangar and the 6,700 square meters of the second hangar on an ICPE (Environmental Protection Facilities Classified) labeled 30-hectare area. In the meantime, TARMAC AEROSAVE is to launch at the beginning of 2016 the construction of new aircraft parking areas to double its capacity.

New facilities to welcome customers

In Tarbes, TARMAC AEROSAVE also initiated the construction of new facilities to welcome their customers. These facilities will open at the beginning of 2016. The operators and owners of stored, under maintenance and dismantled aircraft will be received in these new facilities located close from the entrance, in immediate proximity of the Tarbes-Lourdes airport (24/7). Featuring a new reception, a relaxation space, meeting rooms and some fifteen offices, these new facilities could constitute a representation base for the long-term storage clients.
