aerobd.news: United Aircraft Corporation will present its current product line at the International Aviation and Space Salon. Emphasis will be made on the advanced civil developments: medium-haul aircraft MS-21-300 and wide-body long-haul CR929, according to the corporation.

“At the most important event for us, the “home” air show, we showcase our main novelties… For the first time we are presenting to the Russian and world public the newest MC-21 passenger liner, one of the prototypes of which will take part in the flight program of the air show. Masterful pilotage will be demonstrated by pilots on the fifth generation fighters Su-57. This aviation complex will also be demonstrated for the first time in the static exposition,” said UAC CEO Yuri Slyusar.

The world premiere of MC-21-300 will be the most important event of MAKS-2019. Three prototypes will be presented, taking part in the certification testing program. One of them will participate in demonstration flights at MAKS. Another MC-21-300 aircraft, on which the passenger cabin is installed, will be placed in the exposition. A full-size model of the cockpit and cabin of the Russian-Chinese CR929 long-range wide-body aircraft will also be presented. Superjet 100 aircraft will take part in the static display and the flight program.

The fifth-generation fighter Su-57 will be shown for the first time at the static platform of the air show and will also take part in the flight program. A multi-purpose 4++ MiG-35 fighter will be presented at the static display and in the flight program. The Su-30SM fighter, Yak-130 and Yak-152 training and combat aircraft will take part in the exhibition. Another new feature of MAKS-2019 will be the Il-78M-90A tanker, and its first public demonstration will take place. It is also planned to demonstrate the Be-200 amphibious aircraft and a mobile complex of standardized military repair and maintenance equipment.

As part of its business program, UAC will present a 20-year overview of the global aviation market, which includes analysis of data on the state of the modern aircraft fleet, firm orders, forecasts of demand for new commercial aircraft and the corresponding market capacity for each of the world’s regions, as well as separately for Russia, China and India. It is planned to sign a number of agreements on the site of MAKS-2019 related to the implementation of the UAC’s business digital transformation strategy, as well as to hold thematic conferences and business negotiations, according to the report.

Ministry of Industry and Trade and the State Corporation for assistance in development, production and export of high-tech industrial produce “Rostec” have been appointed as event organizers. MAKS-2019 is hosted by the Aviasalon JSC.
