UFC’s first appearance at Fight Island on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi was watched by millions of viewers and captured the attention of UFC fans from all corners of the world.

In early July, Etihad flew in hundreds of UFC athletes and staff, including UFC President Dana White, welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and fellow stars Amanda Ribas, Jéssica Andrade, José Aldo, Paige Van Zant, Rose Namajunas and Max Holloway jetting into the UAE capital from Las Vegas and Sao Paolo.

The airline proved its wellness credentials by safely transporting the UFC team to Abu Dhabi, with Etihad’s Wellness Ambassadors, an industry first, taking care of the UFC team on board.
