GKN Aerospace and Lockheed Martin expand agreement on PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement
- Agreement includes USD multi-million follow-on contract for Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) launch tubes through 2025
- Additional agreement includes qualification contract for MSE mid-section and seeker housing
aerobd.news : GKN Aerospace has signed a follow-on contract with Lockheed Martin [NYSE:LMT] to supply launch tubes for the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) through 2025. Along with the follow-on contract, an additional agreement was reached for a development contract set to begin October 2021 for tooling, pathfinder units, and qualification necessary to manufacture the mid-section and seeker housing with production of PAC-3 MSE hardware beginning in 2024.
For more than 30 years, GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business has applied proven production methods and capabilities to successfully support the PAC-3 program with the development of lightweight composite launch tubes.

The PAC-3 family of missiles are a combat-proven interceptor that defends against incoming threats, including tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and aircraft.
